The San Francisco home and studio was lovingly restored by Beck himself. His exceptional skills as a master woodworker extended to all aspects of home renovation. The house and garden became a meta-sculpture housing not only the artist and many of his artworks and myriad collections, but also his studio. The studio was located at the garden level where one could find him working most days.
